1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your booking for the HairElegance hair styling workshop (“the Workshop”) offered on HairElegance.co.uk (“the Website”). By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Definitions
“We”, “Us”, “Our” or “HairElegance” refers to the organiser of the Workshop.“You” or “Attendee” refers to the individual booking a place in the Workshop.
3. Booking and Payment
All bookings are made online via our Website and processed through our payment provider, Stripe.Payment must be received in full at the time of booking.By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that the Workshop is a scheduled service and that your booking is non-refundable except as provided in Section 4.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
Customer Cancellations:By completing your booking, you acknowledge and agree that the Workshop is a fixed-date event and that you have been informed that, once confirmed, your booking is non-refundable. Consequently, you expressly waive any statutory right of cancellation under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 with respect to this booking.Our Cancellations or Failure to Meet Minimum:If we cancel the Workshop, or if the Workshop fails to reach the minimum requirement of two bookings, you will be offered the option to rebook for an alternative date or to receive a full refund. In such cases, you will receive the full amount you paid, and any processing fees incurred by us (such as Stripe’s fees) will be absorbed by HairElegance.
5. Changes to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the Workshop at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure. In such cases, you will be notified as soon as possible and offered a choice of rebooking or a full refund, as detailed in Section 4.
6. Venue and Travel
The Workshop will be held at a designated venue in Central London.You are responsible for your own travel arrangements and any associated costs to and from the venue.The venue maintains its own public liability insurance. By attending the Workshop, you acknowledge that any claims arising from your travel to or from the venue are solely your responsibility.
7. Equipment and Intellectual Property
Equipment Provided:We will provide our own equipment for the Workshop – including mannequins, hair bands, hair buns, hair pins, hair brushes, combs, and hair spray – which remains our property. Attendees are expected to use the equipment with care. In the event of accidental damage to our equipment, or if our equipment causes damage to the venue’s property (for example, a table or fixture), we seek to clarify the procedure to be followed. (Please refer to our separate communication with the venue for further details.)Intellectual Property:All workshop materials—including any illustrations, photographs, and step-by-step guides provided during the Workshop—remain the property of HairElegance. You may take personal notes and photographs of your own work on the mannequin for personal use only. Reproduction, distribution, or public display of these materials without our written consent is prohibited.Hair Spray Usage:The hair spray provided is an aerosol product and must be used in accordance with its instructions. By attending the Workshop, you acknowledge that HairElegance is not liable for any adverse effects resulting from improper use of the hair spray.
8. Liability and Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, HairElegance excludes liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your attendance at the Workshop.While the venue holds its own public liability insurance for incidents on its premises, HairElegance is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or losses (including those resulting from slips or falls) that may occur during the Workshop.You are responsible for your personal safety and must follow all instructions provided during the Workshop.
9. Booking Errors and Misprints
While we take every care to ensure that all details on our Website are accurate, HairElegance reserves the right to correct any errors, misprints, or inaccuracies in pricing or descriptions of the Workshop. We shall not be held liable for any such errors.
10. Force Majeure
HairElegance shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, civil disorder, or other events beyond our control.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Amendments
HairElegance reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will be posted on our Website, and it is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
